In my mind, this song is one of those gifts from God that song writers talk about happening only once in a lifetime. This song lyrically dropped from the heavens and was written from beginning to end in a matter of minutes. As it was coming out, I envisioned my dear friend and co-writer, Kate Lee Gurnow playing her violin on the melody. What you hear is the third take, live, in a matter of minutes on a Sunday morning. Kate walked in, tuned up and I hit record. This is one of my most cherished songs I have ever written.
